December 3, 2012: Seashore Trolley Museum Holiday Ride

The Seashore Trolley Museum in Arundel has a special holiday ride on one of its historic trolleys.  They decorate a beautiful trolley car in Christmas dressing, and you take this neat little ride along some old tracks.  At the half way point (a loop), they stop the trolley, and the strange little man that has worked there forever (see below for a picture) reads a little made-up Christmas story that is somewhat amusing for the adults.  Selwyn and Everett were the only kids on the ride, and they did a wonderful job with the sites and scenery (until Selwyn hollered, "Why aren't we GOING?" when the story was being read--oh, well--to his credit, it WAS a bit long).

Before we boarded the trolley we checked out the museum part of the building (and kept re-directing Selwyn away from the hot cocoa and snacks that were for after the ride).

Above, Selwyn played with the train.  Below, Everett looked fat. :)

Everett posed nicely for Mama on one of the old trolley benches.  Cutie!

Above is a pic looking down the trolley car.  Selwyn was pretty amazed.

                                                              Finally, it was snack time!
